Embellished Bedside Cabinets

I picked these up last Tuesday and got straight to work on them.
They are made of solid timber with some veneer detailing and I knew that they would come up beautifully with the white paint treatment!  The knob placement on the top drawer looked funny but I knew just how to fix that...
 These are the original knobs and handles, which I painted and distressed to match the cabinets.

    These bedsides are adorable karen! They definately deserved the white paint treatment.
    As an ex kiwi I can understand your logic re dining chairs - how did you go?

    Once again... furniture beautified with the magic of paint. They looked just plain weird in that first picture, and then after the paint.... what a difference!

    How you saw the beauty in those original tables amazes me! I probably would have passed them by. They turned out beautiful in white! And, I like the knob in the center so much better. Do you use a special primer to adhere your paint to laminate/veneer?
