Retro Office Chair...time for the reveal!

My lovely hubby picked her up yesterday from the upholsterer, and I am thrilled once again with his fantastic workmanship (upholsterer, not hubby, lol).  I am thinking though that she needs some new white feet, and I am still undecided on whether or not to do anything with the metal pedestal legs...I do quite like them as they are.  What I will be doing though, is adding some trim to cover the little staples at the top of the oilcloth on the back.  So here is a reminder of what I started with...
And here she is now...
I am sharing this over at

  8. hi karen! i meant to write the other day, but have been so busy getting ready to head to the market! i wanted to reply and let you know i rent a truck when i go, bring my own tent, don't bring any extra chairs or table, and just sit in a chair i happen to be selling, and it is about 1.5 hrs away, so not bad! they have overnight security so we go tomorrow (friday) and set up and are able to leave it there and come home that night. i have thought about going into a shop but do well enough online that it just seems silly to pay someone for space if i don't need to. i would love to own my own shop one day! good luck in the place you will be selling at- i am sure you will do well there! and it's close by, so couldn't be any more convenient!

  9. Thanks so much, everyone, for your kind comments! I can't wait to get this one 'on the market' to see how it goes but I haven't been able to find any white feet, and haven't got braid yet to cover the staple joins between the floral and the red fabrics. Maybe this week I will!

  11. Like computer chairs, task chairs typically deceptively simple modern designs. However, these are some of the most versatile chairs on the planet! Task chairs have been known to contribute wonderfully to multiple office applications, including desks, cubicles, conference rooms, and even home offices. Cross Back Dining Chairs Manufacturer
